Volunteer Opportunities
The Lifesaving & Lifesaving Sports Federation is a volunteer-based organization. It relies on the commitment of volunteers to provide the expertise needed to accomplish its objectives.
Volunteer opportunities arise regularly and include serving as Board members, committee involvement, special events coordination and participation in short-term projects. Volunteerism within the Lifesaving & Lifesaving Sports Federation has a mutual benefit as volunteers play an active role in the Society and are recognized in many ways for their dedication. Sport Commission – Technical Services Chair
The role of the Sport Commission is to manage Lifesaving Sport in India on behalf of The Lifesaving & Lifesaving Sports Federation, India
The role of the Technical Services Chair is to research, develop and implement technical rules related to Lifesaving Sport in India. The chair will develop and lead operational subcommittees to complete tasks as established by the Sport Commission in order to meet the objectives and priorities set by The Indian Lifesaving & Lifesaving Sports Federation Board of Directors. The Technical Services Chair will perform duties as outlined in the attached Terms of Reference and Job Description.
